The Transits of Neptune

When Neptune transits your natal planets, it pulls you to reveal the spontaneity and timelessness of your spirit and the experience of being in the moment. This experience comes as the boundaries, walls and separations that keep you from being in that at-one-ment are removed, loosened, weakened or softened. The issue for many people is that they seek that experience on the outside, through escape from responsibilities, idealism, fantasy or addiction. That experience comes from being more fully grounded on the inside, in spirit and in tune with your heart and feelings.

The easy transits of Neptune encourage experiences of the spirit in the world around you, as boundaries dissolve in appreciation of the arts, music and spiritual practices.

The more challenging transits of Neptune act to dissolve the barriers to the experience of spirit, both on the outside and within. The experience of the dissolution of boundaries can be very confusing on the outside if no attempt is made to ground yourself in spirit on the inside. Here practices and work with sprit become important. These include contemplation, meditation, chanting, conscious selfless service and improving the body through practices such as Hatha yoga. Music and the arts are of benefit if they pull you to your core.

The transits of Neptune are often confusing, because what is affected is the ego. . .
